Willing to go along with Ulic's plan, but still hesitant about facing Iziz's guards, Modon Kira gathered the clans for the possible final battle. Tott and Cay fixed the ship for the flight back to the city, and after a few days, the three Jedi, Galia, and Oron Kira left for Iziz. However, Ulic had the wrong impression of Queen Amanoa and when they confronted her she branded her daughter as a traitor and even attempted to take her life. Tott, the Jedi, Galia, and Oron barely escaped as Queen Amanoa, no longer hiding the fact that she was a Freedon Nadd devotee, drew on the power of the Dark Side to destroy them.

Tott and the band were now trapped within the citadel with palace guards hunting for them. Cay soon got separated from the party, so Ulic and Tott split up; Tott took Galia and Oron Kira back to their ship, while Ulic went back for Cay. At the landing platform, Tott was able to witness the battle raging beneath him between the beastriders and the city guards. At first it looked as if the beastriders were headed to lose the battle, but suddenly the tide shifted and beastriders broke into the city. Tott was joined by Ulic and Cay and they soon learned the reason for the shift in advantage, Master Arca's was joining the Jedi on Onderon and as he piloted his ship to the landing site, Arca provided the beastriders with a vision of victory, giving them just enough heart to overcome the palace guards.

Tott and the Jedi greeted Arca who said he came to assist them in their mission. Arc scolded the Jedi for not recognizing that the Dark Side was at work earlier and was disappointed he had to intercede. Following Arca to the depths of the palace, Tott and the Jedi found Queen Amanoa at the foot of Freedon Nadd's tomb. However, in the presence of Arca, the darkness of Freddon Nadd, and the darkness supporting Queen Amanoa fled and Queen Amanoa promptly died. With Amanoa finally defeated, Arca explained that Galia's ancestors were of the Dark Side, but she did not have to follow their path, that she was free of the Dark Side. Some time later, Tott, Ulic, Cay, and Master Arca attended the coronation ceremony of the new king and queen of Onderon, Oron Kira and Queen Galia.

After the coronation ceremony, Tott traveled to the planet of Ambria to enlist the help of Jedi Knight Oss Wilum to come and help with the work that was still to be done on Onderon. As Tott returned with Oss, Arca and the Jedi were beginning the process of removing Freedon Nadd's remains from Onderon and transferring them to a tomb on Onderon's Dxun moon. However, as the Jedi were moving the remains through the city to be transported, Tott and the Jedi were attacked by Dark Siders who still remained within the city, Freedon Nadd devotees, led by the armored warrior, Warb Null. Tott and the Jedi had just finished their first mission on Onderon, but were soon faced with another in the form of the Freedon Nadd uprising.
